Ensuring the interests of Sumgait State University, protecting the rights of professors, students and teaching assistants of the university, legally justifying the preparation of a number of official projects (Orders, Regulations, Instructions, etc.), application of legal knowledge is carried out by the Chief lawyer.
Assoc.prof. Amina Hasanova Agamoghlan works as the chief lawyer of Sumgayit State University. Hasanova Amina Agamoghlan graduated from the faculty of Law of Azerbaijan State University named after S.M.Kirov (now Baku State University) with a specialization in jurisprudence. She defended her thesis and received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Associate professor of Philosophy, sociology and political science department Hasanova Amina conducts lectures to university students on the subjects "Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the basics of law", Business law, International trade law, "International law". Provides advice on legal issues to structural units and employees of SSU. She represents the university in front of state bodies, local self-government bodies, legal entities and natural persons, and defends their rights and legal interests to issues related to her scope of activity, as well as participates in commissions, working groups, various level events.
