The Project Called “The Role of a Teacher and a Family in Formation of Teenagers’ Deviant Behaviors” Continues

Kamala Salamova: Holding Moral Discussions is Psycho-social Support to Patients
Each person whose hand played out of society and who faces pain has right to moral support. For this purpose several projects are realized in our university. With initiatives of the dean of Facultyof Philology, assistant professor SevinjHamzayeva and the assistant professorof Pedagogy and Psychology department Kamala Salamova, also with support of university administration “Moral support and psychological aid”, “The role of a teacher and a family in formation of teenagers’ deviant behaviors” projects had important role.
Both projects were affirmed by Sumgait city Executive Power and cover the city. Within the framework of the first project, managers of the project and the students of the university who study in Psychology and pedagogy specialty of Faculty of Philology visited hospitals of Sumgait, communicated with patients and cared about their psychological conditions. 
The aim in this project is to eliminate negative changes in patients’ behaviors that get treatment in the hospital, to help the reduction of loads of emotion through individual therapy or group therapy in order to make their life more interesting. The project manager Kamala khanimnoted that moral talks with patients are support for psycho-social aid. Those who believe in God patiently accept everything that happened because of their beliefs. They see events as exam,but some diseased people can be rebellious. Our goal is to help morally and psychologically.
The fulfillment of the project is planned for 8 months. In the end of the project, achievements will be reported via press conference.
The second project is called“The role of a teacher and a family in formation of teenagers’ deviant behaviors”. In the scientific council’s meeting of the university the assistant professor of Pedagogy and Psychology department Kamala Salamova’s above mentioned project was discussed. The project manager Kamala Salamovaand project participants – Farida Hamidova, AynurMatniyazova, LalanderAzizzadeh, EmreAykan and UghurGuher hold events in secondary schools №1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7. In these seminars parents also took part together with teachers and students.
The project manager Kamala Salamova talking about the project informed that in latest scientific-pedagogical literatures all kinds of abnormal manners ofchildren and juveniles are called “deviant behaviors”. Deviant behavior is discrepancy between a person’s deeds and actions and society’s established norms and standards. This project first had been realized in Turkey as a pilot project. It should be noted that within the framework of the project in five hospitals (Sumgait city hospital №1, Oncologic, Neurologic and Addiction clinics)of our city meetings were held with patients and they were informed about what is trauma, how to get rid of stress and depression after trauma. The main target in all these projects is rehabilitation and integration to society of healthy minded youth, as well as morally and psychologically traumatized people. An interesting discussion was held during the meeting.
