Sumgayit State University has two dormitories. IDP families have been living in the university"s dormitories since 1992. As part of the state"s efforts to improve the social living conditions of refugees and IDPs, a new settlement for IDPs was built in Sumgayit and the resettlement of families living in the university"s dormitory No. 1 was ensured. The university"s dormitory No. 1 has been overhauled as it is unusable.
SSU dormitory No. 1 is located in the 44th block, Aga Guliyev Street. The dormitory consists of 5 floors. The dormitory has about 100 rooms. There are 2 shower rooms, 2 kitchens and 2 laundries on each floor. On the 1st floor of the dormitory there is a library, dining room, medicine, isolation, laundry room. The dormitory also has a gym, a mini football field and a volleyball court.
For the convenience of students, rooms that meet high standards, quality internet, heating, all the opportunities for students to spend their free time effectively. In the near future, living and living rooms will be equipped with the necessary equipment, and from the 2022/2023 academic year, the dormitory No. 1 of SSU will be commissioned.
