Ecoclub

‘Ekoklub’ was established in 2022 by the Department of Ecology of Sumgait State University. The purpose of creating the club is to enhance environmental knowledge among students, to carry out ecological restoration works at SSU, to plant trees, to hold ecological clarity campaigns, and challenge students in environmental projects and events, environmental protection, etc.

The following activities are carried out by ‘Ekoklub’:

- Celebrating ecological calendar days and conducting scientific practical seminars, webinars and events according to the calendar days

- Holding eco-painting exhibitions;

- Organization of excursions to industrial enterprises;

- Carrying out ecological clarity by the sea in Sumgait territory;

- Conducting debates on environmental issues;

- Excursions to national parks with Ecoclub members;

- Involvement of Ecoclub members in environmental trainings;

- Organization of a master class of eminent environmental scientists.

PLANTING ACTION WAS HELD AT SSU
