As always, this year a number of innovations in Sumgait State University will start a new school year. Now all the preparations are completed, the path of university are looking forward to students. There has been done repair works in the university
Also, many departments have been put into the new academic laboratories. History and Geography Faculty of Archaeology and Ethnography of the teaching of science subjects in order to increase the efficiency of the cabinet, in the Department of World Economy room, electrical engineering laboratory at the Department of Energy was established and started operating Linguistic Center.
There were established the cabinets of science subjects in the History and Geography Faculty in order to increase the efficiency of teaching Archaeology and Ethnography, in the Department of World Economy, electrical engineering laboratory at the Department of Energy and started operating Linguistic Center.
All laboratories and teaching rooms were equipped with new device. The second teaching building was repaired. The chambers, walls, window coverings , desks, boards were completely renovated, some audiences have been provided with "smart boards". The power supply and communication system, the high level of integration of their central base and fire protection water tank was built at 300kvm.
The main academic buildings and asphalted road leading to the second academic building, the decorative flowers and bushes have been planted on the roadside. Modern lighting system has been installed in the courtyard of the university, light poles, fences and sidewalks fresh, modern lamps and benches, were built on a chessboard to make the students' leisure time, artificial turf football pitch, volleyball and basketball courts, pavilions were built for table games .
It should be mentioned  that currently the university is on the eve of 55th anniversary. However, preparatory work continues.
