Sumgait State University constantly enrichs his international experience in international  field by participating in various international projects. One of such projects is “The Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into HEIs of Azerbaijan” ESFIDIP  TEMPUS project.
The aims of the project are develop support mechanisms to integrate people with disabilities into HEIs of Azerbaijan in accordance with the policies and guidelines to support higher education institutions, students, teachers and staff training, the local partner universities, "the Center for students with disabilities," the creation of public awareness about the project.
In accordance with the work plan of the project is planned to hold tarinings in local partner universities, for this purpose on may 16  training - seminar for students was held at Sumgayit State University. The training - seminar was carried out by a member of the working group of the project Samira Karimova  and the coordinator of the  "Centre for Students with Disabilities" Tarana Guliyeva. A presentation  made on the project was showed to the students.During the presentation students were informed about the  aim of the project,  works carried out, disability, students with disabilities, the rules of ethical conduct and to communicate properly, inclusive education, "Center for Students with Disabilities" and voluntary.
After various opinions on the subject  were sounded and discussion about the integration of the students with disabilities into  teaching process, teachers and students views on the code of conduct with  students with disabilities were held.
26 students from the faculty of History-Geography  took part in the training.
