SSU STUDENTS ORGANIZED A SERIES OF EVENTS RELATED TO THE KHOJALY TRAGEDY IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS
On February 26, students of the Philology faculty of Sumgayit State University studying Azerbaijani language and literature, Foreign language and Primary school teaching majors organized events related to the 32nd anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy in different classes of their schools.
In the events held in schools No. 10, No. 4, No. 1, No. 15 of Sumgayit city and Idrak lcyeum, with the participation of faculty management, school principals and intern teachers, first of all, a corner with a photo exhibition of martyrs in Khojaly was viewed, as well as books written about Khojaly.
In events held in various formats, the souls of our martyrs were commemorated with a minute of silence, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, "Khojaly lament " was performed by students.
The students informed the students about the tragedy of the century in the form of presentation in Azerbaijani and English languages. They noted the importance of conveying the Khojaly genocide in foreign countries and to foreign citizens who have come to our country in English.
In the speeches, discussions were held on the cause of the Khojaly tragedy, its serious consequences, the moral and material damage caused to our people as a result of the tragedy.

During the event, students and pupils performed various poems dedicated to the tragedy. At the same time, students with high creativity presented essays and stories on various topics in which they reflected their independent opinions.
The event "Khojali - we will not forget the children, the young and the old!" ended with the slogan.
