On December 23, within the ‘Year of Heydar Aliyev’, a conference on ‘Successful foreign policy of Heydar Aliyev and new oil strategy of Azerbaijan’ was held at ADA University. Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Hikmat Hajiyev, Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Emin Amrullayev, President of SOCAR Mr. Rovshan Najaf, SOCAR officials and employees, university rectors, students and SOCAR volunteers took part in the conference.

After getting acquainted with the exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, the event continued with the moderation of ADA University vice-rector Fariz Ismayilzade. After playing the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and commemorating the dear souls of the martyrs with a 1-minute silence, a video clip dedicated to the great leader Heydar Aliyev and the youth, as well as the final video clips of the lectures and tours held by SOCAR within the ‘Year of Heydar Aliyev’ were shown.

Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Hikmat Hajiyev, then the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Emin Amrullayev and  the President of SOCAR Mr. Rovshan Najaf spoke about the role of the great leader Heydar Aliyev in the formation of the independent state of Azerbaijan, activities related to the development of education and the essence of the new oil strategy. The episodes mentioned by the speakers about the activities and important decisions of the great leader Heydar Aliyev were met with special interest by the participants.
