On November 16, a practical training was held for a group of scientists and researchers of Sumgayit State University with the participation of Inesh Kenjina, an expert of "Clarivate Analytics" company.

It should be noted that one of the main indicators for the university"s representation in international rating systems and to strengthen its current position is the presence of information in authoritative elmmetric databases. Sumgayit State University, which is the only higher education institution of the city of chemical industry, has a significant amount of scientific articles published in the databases of international scientific publications. Due to the fact that SSU, which has a development history of more than 60 years, has been operating under several names since its foundation, in order to protect the copyright to the scientific property of the university. The aim of the training was to write the author details of our scientists and researchers in the authoritative scientific journals in a uniform format, follow the author profiles and introduce the researchers to the means of measuring the productivity of their scientific works.

Inesh Kenjina, representative of Clarivate for the CIS countries, gave a presentation entitled "Selecting a suitable journal for scientific publications on the Web of Science platform" gave detailed information about writing cover letter) and review process of articles.

The interactive training was followed by a question-and-answer session.
