The flag of SSU was raised on Zafar peak
On the occasion of November 8 Victory Day and November 9 National Flag Day, amateur mountaineer Ayaz Babayev, IV year student of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of SSU, climbed the second highest peak of Azerbaijan, Zafar (4301), with a group of climbers and raised the flag of Azerbaijan from November 8 to 10 also waved the flag of SSU. It should be noted that in honor of Azerbaijan"s Victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, the nameless height located east of Bazarduzu Peak was officially named Zafar Peak on February 9, 2021.
