On November 28 ENACTUS Baki office organized a fair regarding national handcrafts of Azerbaijan in Royal Hotel (Baki) supported by the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Member of ENACTUS SSU team S.Mammadova, A.Samadov, F.Umudlu and E.Sharifov attended at the fair.
The main aim of the project is “to develop our national handcraft and support the youth who live in the regions of Azerbaijan and to assist reduction of unemploymentandincreaseemployment in the regions,” said the director of ENACTUS Baki Office.
Project manager Najima Aliyeva stressed the importance of protection of cultural origins and national heritage.
“This project would also attract young entrepreneurs from other regions of Azerbaijan and will assist to the development of entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan”,representative of the Youth Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan Republic ShafagBayramova stressed in her speech.
Well-known writer of Azerbaijan Nizami Gancavi’sportrait carpets, national costumes, veils, metal arts and other national art samples exhibited at the fair.
We should mention that 12 craftsmen, university students and representatives participated at the fair.
