The second day of International Accreditation continues at SSU
On October 11, the expert group of ASIIN (International Accreditation Agency for Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics educational programs) came to SSU for international accreditation of 3 educational programs of the faculty of Engineering of SSU - Computer engineering, Information Technologies, Process Automation engineering majors.
In the first half of the day, international experts met with the students of SSU and held extensive discussions with them. Later, the expert group of ASIIN together with the dean of the faculty of Engineering Ulduz Agayev, the heads of the department and the head of the Quality Assurance Department Narmin Hasanova inspected the modern laboratories of the faculty and got to know the work of the newly purchased equipment that meets modern standards, as well as the auditoriums equipped with computers. In addition, the guests of the university also participated in the training classes.
In the second half of the day, experts held a meeting with industrial partners of SSU. Experts from Sumgayit Technology Park, Sumgayit ASAN service, Ethylene-Polyethylene plant, Neftgazavtomat Scientific-Production enterprise, Sumgayit Sukanal administration participated in the meeting. Then, the international expert group got to know the infrastructure of the university, the Student House and the open-air museum-polygon.
