Representatives of the Education Student Loan Fund visited Sumgayit State University
On October 9, Araz Pashayev, Chairman of the Board of the Educational Student Loan Fund at Sumgayit State University, held a meeting with the first-year students who receive full-time paid education with his delegation.
The main purpose of the meeting was to hold discussions in the direction of organizing joint information work on education student loans and to cooperate more closely with the university.
Rector of the university Rufat Azizov opened the event with an opening speech and greeted the guests and participants, spoke about the importance of the meeting, talked about the state's concern for education and the projects implemented in this direction.
He said that the present and future of every country is directly related to education. At the same time, the level of education determines the scientific and technical progress to a great extent.
In this direction, the steps taken on the basis of the high attention and purposeful instructions of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the implemented state programs serve to achieve qualitatively new development trends in the education system and achieve high results.
Currently implemented new projects and programs serve to help students achieve more successful results during their studies and support them in the educational process.
In this regard, the role of the Education Student Loan Fund is great.
Thus, the fund provides access to education for people from low-income groups of the population, and creates equal opportunities for education.
At the end of his speech, the Rector noted the importance of organizing meetings with students regarding the granting of educational loans and made a number of suggestions so that students can benefit more from the existing system.
Araz Pashayev, Chairman of the Management Board of the Education Student Loan Fund, made a speech and explained the activities of the fund he leads, the initial conditions and stages of granting loans, and the advantages of loan conditions.
He said that the creation of the fund increases students' access to higher education, creates new opportunities, and shows the state's concern for youth and education.
At the end, discussions were held on the proposals put forward regarding the granting of educational loans, many questions of the students were answered by the chairman of the fund, Araz Pashayev.
