VIII STUDENT SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE WAS ORGANIZED BY SSS AT THE FACULTY OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY OF SSU
On May 18, VIII student scientific conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Student Scientific Society, was held at the faculty of Chemistry and biology of Sumgayit State University.
The conference, which began with the work of the plenary session, was opened by the dean of the faculty, associate professor Mahal Muradov. He spoke about the important role of the conference, which has become a tradition, in the lives of students, and the relevant conditions for students in the science and education at the university, the dean wished success to the work of the conference.
Professor Akbar Agayev, head of the department of Petroleum chemistry and chemical engineering, said that the university management has created all the conditions for students.
Speaking about the general work principle of SSS, associate professor Lala Bunyatova, noted that the internal and external activities of the Student Scientific Society were currently being strengthened.
Nargiz Ashurova, the supervisor of SSS of the faculty of Chemistry and biology, associate professor of the department of Ecology, informed about the general state of the work at the faculty and noted that they will expand their activities in the future.
Then the plenary session continued with the report of 4 students. Interesting discussions were held around the reports.
After the plenary session ended, the conference continued its work in 2 sections.
A total of 22 students' reports were listened.
The conference ended with the reports of the department heads.
