Information session on UNESCO Chairs
On April 4, an information session was held (in virtual format) for vice-rectors of international cooperation and heads of international departments of higher education institutions with the participation of permanent delegate of the Republic of Azerbaijan to UNESCO Elman Abdullayev under the organization of the Ministry of Science and Education in order to expand cooperation relations in the field of science and education between the Republic of Azerbaijan and UNESCO.
The event was moderated by Tural Ahmadov, head of the international cooperation department of the Ministry of Science and Education.
Ambassador Elman Abdullayev gave the information about the establishment of UNESCO chairs under ATM, the application form, activities, the advantages of joining the UNITWIN network with other UNESCO chairs, the activities of UNESCO clubs, the Associated Schools Network and the implementation and importance of other national-cultural heritage promotion projects.
The meeting ended with a question-and-answer session that engaged the participants.
