On October 19, the presentation of the film "Fate of the martyr" dedicated to the memory of Muhammad Nadir Ilgar oglu -   Special Forces scout of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces was held at the Great assembly hall of Sumgayit State University.

Deputies Hijran Huseynova, Mushfiq Mammadli, Emin Hajiyev, professor-lecturer and student staff of SSU, families of martyrs, veterans participated in the presentation.

First, the National Anthem was played, and the memory of the sons of the Motherland who died for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with a minute's silence.

Associate professor vice-rector for Social issues and public relations of Sumgait State University Elmar Khalilov greeted the participants of the event , stated about its importance the joint initiative of professor rector of Sumgait State University Elkhan Huseynov and Mushfiq Aliyev chairman of the Martyrs' Families Care Society to perpetuate the memory of the brave sons of Azerbaijan. He said that books and films are written about the great victories achieved by the Azerbaijani Army in the counter-offensive operation against the invading Armenian armed forces on September 27. The heroic lives of the martyrs are an example for everyone. May God have mercy on all our martyrs.

Mushfiq Aliyev chairman of the Society for the Care of Martyrs' Families spoke about the importance of the film for the purpose of perpetuating the names of our martyrs. He said that our martyrs will always live in our hearts, and their memory will always be cherished.

Chairman of the Committee on Family, Women and Children's Affairs of the Milli Majlis, member of parliament professor Hijran Huseynova made a speech and noted that the soldiers of the Victory Azerbaijan Army who wrote our history with their own blood under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev they freed our lands from the enemy. The victory achieved by the Azerbaijani Army demonstrated the invincibility of our nation to the whole world. Unfortunately, this war did not pass without victims. Several of our heroic sons rose to the peak of martyrdom for the freedom of our land, and thousands of our brave men gained the title of veterans.

Member of the Health Committee of the Milli Majlis, member of parliament Mushfiq Mammadli, Emin Hajiyev in their speeches spoke about the history of victory won by our victorious army united around the Iron Fist of Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev for 44 days, and the heroism of the martyrs and veterans of the Patriotic war who liberated our land from enemy aggression.

Sureyya Rzayeva, the grandmother of martyr Mohammad Nadir Rzayev made a speech and stated that Nadir went to the frontline during the Patriotic war for liberating our territories under the occupation of Armenia  and fought as part of the special forces in the battles in the direction of Fuzuli and Jabrayil. He was martyred on October 15 in the direction of Fuzuli region. He was buried in Sumgait Martyrs' Alley. According to the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev dated December 15, 2020, Muhammad Nadir Rzayev was posthumously awarded with the medal "Vətən uğrunda" ("For the motherland").

Ms. Sureyya also mentioned that she was born in 1994 when her uncle Nadir was martyred, and the Rzayev family named Nadir to their son so that his name would live on. But he lived the life of his uncle. Young Nadir, like his uncle was martyred for the country in Fuzuli district.

At the end of her speech, Sureyya Rzayeva expressed her gratitude to the Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care to the families of the martyrs of our state.

Then, with the financial support of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the organization of the Society for the Care of Martyrs' Families, the film "Fate of the Martyr" dedicated to the memory of the martyr Muhammad Nadir Rzayev was presented.

After the presentation, poems dedicated to the motherland were recited  "Tasnif of Khudayar " was sounded.
