A SHOW-DEBATE WAS HELD AMONG THE STUDENTS AT SSU
On October 13, a show-debate on the topic "Social networks have a positive effect on the development of society" was held at SSU under the joint organization of the Student Youth Organization and the Debate club.
Students, debaters, members of the university"s debate group took part in the event.
The chairman of SYO of Sumgayit State University Elmin Novruzlu spoke about the importance of debate and the successes of our students in various debate tournaments.
The chairman of the Debate club of the university Anar Gurbanov talked about the relevance of the topic of the debate and stated that the main purpose of the show-debate is to provide students with detailed information about the debate, to show its essence and to ensure that they are involved in future projects and trainings. It helps to train professional debaters.
Later, the "Affirmation" and "Negation" teams started a debate on "Social networks have a positive effect on the development of society."
At the end, the participants shared their thoughts and opinions on the topic.
