Teacher is the pinnacle of the knowledge
On October 5, an event called "Teacher is the pinnacle of knowledge" was held at the faculty of Philology organized by the Student Youth Organization of SSU dedicated to October 5 - International Teachers" Day.
First, the National Anthem was played, the souls of our heroes who died for the territorial integrity and independence of Azerbaijan and the memory of the teachers who died in the Patriotic War were commemorated.
The dean of the faculty of Philology associate professor Sevinj Hamzayeva made a speech and noted that the work of the teachers is undeniable. Patriotism and attachment to national values were at the root of educational reforms carried out after Azerbaijan gained independence. She said that the organized event was dedicated to our martyred teachers who showed bravery in the Patriotic war.
Then the students talked about the life path of martyred teachers and recited poems dedicated to them. A video clip was presented.
The songs "Ey Vətən" and "Karabakh" were performed by the student of the faculty Gunel Ganbarova.
