THE SSU PROFESSOR PARTICIPATED IN THE INTERNATIONAL ASTRONAUTICAL CONGRESS
Vali Huseynov, professor of the department of Physics and its Teaching Methodology of Sumgayit State University, head of the physics laboratory of Cosmic Ray Sources of the Institute of Physics of the Ministry of Science and Education, corresponding member of ANAS participated in the 73rd International Astronautical Congress held in Paris, France.
The said congress, organized by the International Astronautical Federation and attended by more than 6,500 representatives from nearly ninety countries, was held at the Paris Convention Center hosted by the French National Center for Space Research. More than 3,500 scientific reports, including more than 800 interactive presentations, were heard at the Congress. V. Huseynov gave a report at the congress on "The possibility of detecting cosmic relic neutrino signals and the door to the construction of a relic neutrino telescope" and scientifically justified that The detection of cosmic relic neutrinos becomes a reality when the relict neutrinos, which were participants in the events that occurred in the first second of the big bang and have survived to this day, are scattered by transversely polarized ultrarelativistic electrons passing through monocrystals with a strong internal electrostatic field and accelerated to energies of a hundred gigaelectron volts. This scientific result allows us to detect relict neutrino signals coming from a distance of about a hundred light-years from us and beyond and to build a relict neutrino telescope.
V. Huseynov, in his second scientific work entitled "Enhancement of the energy of cosmic relic neutrinos", in which he gave an interactive presentation at the congress, discovered the physical conditions under which the energy of cosmic relic neutrinos with extremely low energy is enhanced and scientifically proved that it is possible to enhance the energy of cosmic relic neutrinos up to hundreds of gigaelectronvolts and cosmic using relict neutrinos, it is possible to transfer energy to very large cosmic distances. This scientific presentation of V. Huseynov was reviewed by the Program Committee of the congress and included in the list of the best 80 works selected from more than 800 scientific works.
We should note that the next, 74th congress of the International Astronautical Federation will be held in Azerbaijan. Baku hosted this prestigious congress for the first time in 1973, and after 50 years, the global space community will come to our country again.
