On January 21, the examination session process of the autumn semester of the 2021-2022 academic year was observed with the participation of members of the Public Control and Advisory Council parents , and media representatives under the rector's office of Sumgayit State University.

The Vice-Rector for Humanitarian Affairs, Associate Professor Ramiz Huseynov received the observers , briefed them about the organization and the process of the autumn exam session. He noted that the exams are traditionally held in accordance with the order of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. F-570 dated 10.12.2021. The autumn exam session at Sumgayit State University is planned to be held from January 5 to February 2, 2022. The vice-rector also noted that all the necessary conditions have been created at the university for transparent examinations. In order to ensure the timely and prompt resolution of the complaints that may arise during the examination session, the Appeals Commission was established, as well as the Examination Headquarters to monitor the examination session and promptly investigate and eliminate complaints that may arise among the students. Noting that the participation and success rates in the exams are pleasing , the vice-rector emphasized that "Open Doors" days are regularly organized during the session with the participation of the University's Public Oversight and Advisory Board, parents and community members. This ensures transparency and objectivity in the assessment of the students' knowledge.

Then, parents and media representatives observed the examination process in different auditoriums and inquired about the attitude of the students to the exams.

The participants of the "Open Day" thanked the university administration for the created conditions and wished successes in strengthening reputation of the university.
