WINNERS OF INTER-FACULTY VOLLEYBALL SPARTAKIAD DEDICATED TO 880TH ANNIVERSARY OF NIZAMI GANJAVI DETERMINED
A series of events dedicated to the 880th anniversary of Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi are being held in our country. Sumgayit State University also holds events to study the rich heritage of Nizami Ganjavi. As a continuation of the events, an inter-faculty volleyball spartakiad dedicated to the 880th anniversary of Nizami Ganjavi was launched on November 22 at Sumgayit State University with the organization of the Student Trade Union Committee and Sports Club. 8 teams consisting of students of Sumgayit State University and Sumgayit State Technical College under SSU took part in the competition.
The intense race to reach the goal ended on November 26.
According to the general results, the teams of the faculties of Economics and Management, Philology, Chemistry and Biology were awarded the first, second and third places, respectively.
