HOLY DEBT TO THE HOLY LAND
When the soil is mixed with water, it becomes mud, and when it is mixed with blood, it becomes homeland. We owe every drop of blood shed to the land of the Motherland where we live to the martyrs. We are the victorious youth of the victorious people!
On October 26, a group of students of the Faculty of History and Geography visited the Alley of Martyrs in Sumgayit. They helped with the landscaping work and planted flowers on the sacred land where the heroes slept.
Students of Sumgayit State University said that the Azerbaijani Army, under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief, restored the country"s territorial integrity, historical justice and international law within 44 days. The whole world witnessed the glorious victory of Azerbaijan in the Great Patriotic War due to the courage and bravery of our heroic servicemen and the blood of our martyrs. Azerbaijan always appreciates the courage of its sons and daughters, respects the spirit of all our martyrs and honors their memory. We, as students of Sumgayit State University, do not forget the heroes who died for the Motherland!
