A 44-DAY CHRONICLE OF THE TWO-CENTURY CONFLICT
On September 23, at the Faculty of Physics and Electrical Engineering, an event was organized by the Student Youth Organization on the theme "44-day Chronicle of Victory in the Two-Century Conflict" dedicated to September 27 - Remembrance Day.
First, the memory of our heroes who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated.
Opening the event, the dean of the faculty, associate professor Tamella Ahmadova, said that today our people celebrate a great day in its history - September 27 - the Day of Remembrance, which is the beginning of the Victory Road. September 27, 2020 opened a new page in the history of Azerbaijan, in the annals of heroism. This page was written with the courage of the Azerbaijani soldier, the victory march, the battle of our army for the Motherland.
Associate Professor Tamella Ahmadova also noted that the main reasons for victory in the war are a strong state, economy, powerful army, unity of people and power, high national-moral spirit, effective governance, successful foreign policy, effective information policy and so on. The whole nation united around President Ilham Aliyev like an iron fist against the enemy. Close unity of the rear and front was ensured. The victory opened new horizons for Azerbaijan.
A parent of martyr Seyfaddin Balagayev, participants of Great Patriotic War Parviz Ismayilov and Nurlan Muradov, said that the revenge of our martyrs were taken who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our occupied lands thanks to the historic victory in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. Our martyrs will always live in the hearts of our people.
At the end of the event, the poem "Flag" was performed by second-year student Musa Khalilov.
