THE 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF VALEH MAMMADOV, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF SSU
Following the quarantine rules, a meeting dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Valeh Mammadov, Associate Professor of the Process Automation Department of the Engineering Faculty of SSU was held on September 15.
Rector of the University, Professor Elkhan Huseynov spoke about the meaningful life of the jubilee, his labor activity, his services in training young engineers. At the end of his speech, the rector presented Valeh Mammadov with an honorary diploma and a monetary award for his long-term fruitful scientific-pedagogical and public activities and on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of his birth.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Associate Professor Ulduz Aghayev and other speakers spoke about the effective work of the scientist in the training of engineering and technical personnel with higher education in the country. Describing Valeh Mammadov as a simple, kind and wise man with phenomenal knowledge and intelligence in the field of engineering science, a true intellectual, scientific and civic position, they spoke about his fond memories and looked at his glorious life.
At the end, Associate Professor Valeh Mammadov thanked the rector of the university, Professor Elkhan Huseynov and the speakers for the kind words and congratulations addressed to him.
