On January 16, a meeting was held at Baku Business University as part of the European Commission-funded project ERASMUS + EQAC (Establishing and Developing Quality Assurance Centers in Azerbaijani Universities). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues of quality assurance in European higher education institutions, as well as to arrange meetings of rectors, vice-rectors and managers of universities and sign exchange agreements. The meeting was also attended by George Dafoulas, associate professor at Middlesex University in England. George Dafoulas proposed to develop the ERASMUS + project in the following areas: career, e-learning, entrepreneurship and innovation, incubation, social inclusivity. Sumgayit State University was represented in the meeting by the vice-rector for International Relations docent Gafar Atayev and the head of the Department of International Cooperation and International Students PhD in history Samira Mammadova.

It is noteworthy that the Erasmus + EQAC project is being implemented by financial support of the European Union and coordination of Baku Business University.
