In 2019/2020 academic year, many educational laboratories were created at many faculties of Sumgayit State University. For the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology acquired a modern gas-liquid chromatograph of Russian production. It is installed at the Department of Petroleum Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Along with improving the quality of training at the faculty, the Chromatec device 5000.2NP will be used to train highly qualified personnel in the specialties of chemical engineering, chemistry teachers, environmental engineering, biology. The device allows with high accuracy to analyze organic compounds of various classes, liquid compounds, as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis of oil fractions. Chromatec. 5000.2NP is successfully used in almost all SOCAR plants and enterprises. The chromatographic analysis method is used in the classroom for the preparation of bachelors, undergraduates and doctoral students.
