On July 15, opening ceremony of “Travel to Land of Fire Azerbaijan” Student Summer School took place at Sumgayit State University by support of Ministry of Education and Association of Russian-Azerbaijani Universities. The head of the student group of Ufa State Oil Technical University, Albina Nabiyeva, read out a welcome letter from the rector of USOTU, co-chairman of the Association of Russian-Azerbaijani Universities from the Russian side, academician Ramil Bakhtizin to the participants of the Student Summer School “Travel to the Land of Fire Azerbaijan”. The letter noted that “Despite all the difficulties of the economic and political development of our countries in recent years, we have not ceased to communicate and our meeting today is a clear confirmation of this.”

The rector of USOTU academician R.N. Bakhtizin in his letter thanked everyone who took the time and opportunity to take part in this wonderful event. He expressed confidence that this event will strengthen and develop all-round cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan.
