THE FOLLOWING MEETING OF SCIENTIFIC BOARD
On June 14, the following meeting of Scientific Board was held. Rector of university prof.Elkhan Huseynov hailed Board members and congratulated the collective on occasion of 15 June-National Salvation Day. He gave information about the issues on agenda.
Docent Ilgar Safarli, head of working group, instituted at the university, spoke of provision of subjects with the subject programs and syllabuses and their compliance with state standards. He pointed out that subject programs and syllabuses in all departments are prepared systematically and relevant to state standards.
Vice-rector on Science and Innovations prof.Ramazan Mammadov informed about institution of Self-analysis commission for arrangement of following accreditation of SSU and continuance of preparations. The composition of Commission that consists of 29 persons, verified.
Chairwoman of International Cooperation Department Samira Mammadova gave information about the state of execution of Establishment and Development of Quality Assurance Centers in Azerbaijani Universities ERASMUS+EQAC project and the results of visit of SSU delegation to Alicante University of Spain within the project.
Faculty deans widely spoke of outcomes of subject Olympiads which were held in SSU among schoolchildren of Sumgayit city schools. It was noted that the winners were awarded with certificates and presents by university administration.
Prof.Ramazan Mammadov reported the results of scientific conferences, held at SSU in April and May.
Teaching plans and teaching aids, which were presented to Scientific Board on current issues, were discussed.
Vice-rector on Teaching Organization and Training Technologies docent Natig Talibov pointed out that the specialty of Engineering of organization of conveyance management in transport on Engineering faculty is intended in forecast plan. After discussions, teaching plan confirmed.
In the end scientific secretary prof.Mukhtar Samadov gave information about 15 teaching aids which were presented to Scientific Board. They were discussed and permitted to be published. Thus, the meeting of Scientific Board concluded.
