THE FOLLOWING MEETING OF SCIENTIFIC BOARD
On April 30, the following meeting of Scientific Board was held.
University rector Professor Elkhan Huseynov hailed Board members and before discussing issues on agenda, congratulated dean of Chemistry and biology faculty docent M.Muradov, dean of Physics and electroenergetics faculty docent T.Ahmadova and dean of Philology faculty docent S.Hamzayeva on occasion of their election to the dean position and wished them success.
Afterwards the agenda of Scientific Board confirmed.
Chairman of Commission on science and education Professor Mahammadali Zarbaliyev gave information about the state of education at Sumgayit State Technical College.
Head of Doctorate and Master programs Office docent Sabir Khalilov delivered speech about results of research works, pedagogical internship and attestation of II course master students.
Chairwoman of Foreign languages department Professor Nigar Isgandarova gave information about self-analysis report on the specialties chosen as a pilot in SSU within Twinning program of European Union and the project “Support to strengthening higher education system in Azerbaijan”. The works executed in our university in direction of self-analysis have been conducted proper to legal normative instructions of Azerbaijan Republic and international standards and highly appreciated by Ministry of Education.
Vice-rector on Humanitarian Issues docent Ramiz Huseynov gave information about the events to be held on occasion of 96th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. He pointed out that a series of events will be held at the university for commemorating great leader.
At the end teaching aids which were presented to Scientific Board were discussed and permitted to be published. Thus, the meeting of Scientific Board concluded.
