OUR STUDENTS WERE WINNERS AT IV WINTER SCIENCE FESTIVAL
IV Winter Science Festival held at Baku Engineering University by the organization of Student Scientific Society. The object of the festival is to reveal young talented persons and stimulate them.
The projects were displayed by the students of more than 20 higher education institutions and secondary school pupils at the festival organized in University foyer: “Palimpsest collage”, “Environmentally friendly bioplastics”, “Preventing landslide”, “Digital government”, etc.
Rector of University Professor Havar Mammadov emphasized significance of the Festival for our science and education. He notified that the number of participants and presented projects is increasing year after year. Rector also noted that the Festival contributes to the advancement of Azerbaijani science and promotion of gained achievements.
54 teams took part in the festival from universities and secondary schools of our country, 18 of them represented Baku Engineering University. More than 100 projects presented to the contest. The projects of SSU students were awarded I and II place on Economics category and III place on Engineering category. The winners on both categories are the students of Faculty of Chemistry and biology.
All members of teams, as well as teams that were awarded the first three places were presented certificates and presents by the organizers.
