THE NEXT MEETING IN THE FRAME OF ERASMUS+EQAC PROJECT
The next meeting in the frame of ERASMUS+EQAC project was held on October 9-11 at Baku Business University.
The object of the meeting is the analysis of self-evaluation reports prepared by Azerbaijani universities, which are project partners, discussion of current condition of Quality assurance in Azerbaijani universities and preparation of final reports.
The following persons attended the meeting about the project “Establishing and Developing Quality Assurance Centers in Azerbaijani Universities (EQAC)”: vice-rector on Teaching Organization and Training Technologies docent Natig Talibov, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management docent Aynura Yahyayeva, Section head of Evaluation and Quality Assurance docent Khalil Aliyev, head of International Cooperation Office PhD on history Samira Mammadova, part-time lab. worker of Department of Azerbaijani language and its teaching methods Nihad Huseynov, senior lecturer of Department of History and its teaching methods Sarvan Badalov and graduate of Philology Faculty Hazrat Abbasov.
Partners participating in the project also took part in the event: partner higher education institutions of Azerbaijan, Alicante University of Spain, Middlesex University of England, University of Applied Sciences and Lithuanian Accreditation Bureau, King Technologies Institute of Swiss.
The graduate of SSU Hazrat Abbasov took an active part in the interviews, which was carried out about quality assurance in education in the meeting. The projects with European universities, as well as raising the number of presented projects were the topic of discussion; suggestions were made on establishing new project teams. The problems of Quality assurance system in Azerbaijani higher education institutions were also debated. At the end of discussions opinions of experts of European partners were heard.
The certificates of training, which was held in June, were presented to participants.
