On April 18, representatives of SOCAR Polymer LLC hold a meeting with students at SSU and made a presentation about the Summerinternship program-2017.
Vice-rector on science and innovation of the university, Prof. RamazanMammadov welcomed the guests, notifying the improvement stages of high school, underlined the importance of integration of national education into European education, as well as mutual cooperation with associated enterprises for training of professionals. He noted that, special attention in state-run programsconcerningsocio-economic development is paid on opening new workplaces and reduction of unemployment, which have been approved by orders of the President of Azerbaijan Republic, Mr. IlhamAliyev. At present, not only the capital, but also all our regions are reviving and flourishing. Prof. RamazanMammadov brought into the attention that, SSU has effective educational relations with several enterprises for the purpose of training qualified workers. In order to enrich their theoretical knowledge gained during the study, our students are sent to several production enterprises of our country, as well as to “Petkim” Petro chemistry Holding of Turkey with the initiative of “Azeri Chemistry“ SU. By giving the opportunity of obtaining practice to the students, these relations are the next support to them who dream to work at this enterprise.
Vice-rector also made a report about the meeting held by several heads of enterprises and Sumgait Chemical Industrial enterprise, with the students and graduates, and they assist them get jobs appropriate to their qualifications.
Represetatives of SOCAR Polymer LLC, Mrs. AylarMustafayeva, Mrs. NargisSalimova, Mr. MatinHuseynli, by informing about their enterprise notified that, education level of youth increases year after year. Recently, the youth mostly apply for job to State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR). According to youth policyof our country, training of young specialists, their placement,career rising issues arealways in the center of attention. Nowadays, youth are represented significantly in the important areas of chemical industry.Rejuvenation of cadre resources has become a trend and it is sustainable. As in the other departments of SOCAR,the knowledge and skill are always main matters for improving the career opportunities of youth at “Azerchemistry” SU. Employment of the students of SSU practiced at SOCAR Polymer LLC will contribute to improvement of regional cadre potential. 
Specialist of SOCAR Polymer LLC on teaching and improvement, Mrs. AfagIsmayilovamade a presentation about the admissionrules of Summer program, and noted that the project will start in June. Internship will be held by local and foreign specialists. Students who successfully complete the internship will be awarded with certificates.
