OUR COLLABORATORS IN THE TRAININGS AT GANJA STATE UNIVERSITY
International trainings got started at Ganja State University on “Promoting excellence in teaching and learning in Azerbaijani universities PETRA” project within “Erasmus+” program, financed by European Commission.
The representatives from University of Jyväskylä (Finland), Vienna University of Applied Sciences (Austria), Valencia Polytechnic University (Spain), Gazi University (Turkey) and Debrecen University (Hungary) took part in the international training as an instructor.
About 50 representatives from 7 Azerbaijani universities, head of National Office of ERASMUS Parviz Baghirov and employee of the Office Zafar Hasanov also attended the trainings. Head of the Department of Process automation Professor Javanshir Mammadov, chairwoman of International Cooperation Office PhD in history Samira Mammadova and methodist of the Office Aliya Khalilbayli represented SSU.
Vice-rector of Ganja State University for Science and Innovations, deputy of Milli Majlis Parvin Karimzade spoke about recent achievements in the advancement of science and education at the University.
Chairwoman of International Cooperation Office Samira Mammadova delivered presentation about Training and Learning Center in SSU, current state and future activity direction of Electron laboratory. She emphasized that the seminars and trainings will be arranged in the Center for researchers on research mechanisms, means of conducting research, use of domestic and international literature and references. S.Mammadova gave interview to Region TV and pointed out that the project contributes to strengthening current relations with European partners and improvement of future relations. She thanked to project author, GSU administration and PETRA team.
It is worth to note that the purpose of holding the training is to conduct mutual exchange of experience with European universities in the sphere of promoting teaching and learning in Azerbaijani higher education institutions. By the implementation of this project, lecturers and PhD students of the University could gain access to international accredited libraries and science centers.
