Mechanics and transport technologies
The department operating under the name of Mechanics was named the department of Metrology and standardization in 2014, and the department of Mechanics and transport technologies in 2023. The department is headed by PhD in technology associate professor Shamama Mammadova Hajibala gizi.
3 docents, 4 senior lecturers and 1 assistants, 2 lab. assistants are working in the department.

The department has a teaching laboratory. The teaching laboratory is equipped with modern computer equipment.
The educational methodical complex of the subjects taught in the department (textbook, teaching materials, methodical materials, laboratory work instructions, etc.) and their electronic version were created.
A local computer network with access to the global Internet has been created in the department"s laboratory.
